# Channel Settings You can access your channel settings by clicking on the 'Settings' button in the top left-hand corner of the sidebar.
### Preferences
#### **Choose your** channel **icon** Your channel icon is automatically generated during the onboarding process. To change it, simply click on the icon and choose from your library or upload your own image.
#### **Choose your** channel **name** To change your channel name, simply click on the `Edit info` button in the top right corner, choose a name, and click on `Save` to confirm.
#### **Collaboration** Set your message notification settings to either enable all, mentions only, or disable all.
#### **Choose your homepage** Your homepage is what you will see each time you open Anytype. By default, it's set to Last opened Object in spaces and to Chat in a chats, which cannot be changed. However, you can customize your homepage using the drop-down menu in your channel settings. You can choose to display your graph, the last object you opened, or a specific object you created.
#### **Choose channel type** In this section, you can switch between a space and a chat. #### **Default object type** This option lets you define which Object Type will be used when creating an Object by default.
#### **Delete your** channel To delete your channel, click the `...` menu and select `Delete Channel.`
#### Transfer Channel Ownership Channel ownership can now be transferred to another member. This allows Channels to be handed over as roles change, without recreating them or losing history. After the transfer, you become an Editor, and the new owner takes full control, including the ability to transfer ownership again.
